Returns and refunds
All of our items are made to order, which means we cannot accept returns or exchanges unless the item you receive is damaged or faulty.
Unsure about sizing? Please refer to the specific size guide provided on each product page before placing your order. We are unable to offer exchanges for incorrect sizing.
Prefer to try on items in person? Keep an eye out for our pop-up shop events.
Damaged, defective, or incorrect item?
If your item arrives damaged or defective, or if you receive an incorrect item, please contact us within 7 days of receiving your order.
Reporting an issue
Please email us at hello@hallamstudentsunion.com and include the following details:
In your email, you'll need to include:
- Your order number
- A brief description of the issue
- Photos that clearly show the damage or defect
We'll review your request promptly. If your claim is approved, we'll arrange for a replacement or refund.
Eligibility for refund or replacement
To be eligible, items must be:
- Unworn and unused, with all original tags and packaging intact.
- Accompanied by a receipt or proof of purchase.
- All returns must be pre-approved by our team before being sent back.

How to send an approved return
If your item is approved for replacement or refund:
- Pack your item securely, including your order number
- Send your return via a tracked postal service to:

Important: We are not responsible for returns lost or damaged in transit. We highly recommend using a tracked service to return your item.
Getting your refund or replacement
Once we receive and inspect your return, we'll notify you via email.
If your return is approved, we'll either:
- Send your replacement, or
- Process your refund
Refunds will be processed to your original payment method. Please allow up to 10 business days for the refund to be processed on our end.
After that, allow a few extra business days for your bank or card provider to post the refund to your account.
If you have not received your refund within 15 business days of it being approved, please contact us at hello@hallamstudentsunion.com.
